Every once in a while, if you’re lucky enough, you get that special card in the mail, or that phone call that makes your day! We pride ourselves with our “One Call Covers It All” model, but its’ one thing for us to tell you about our programs and services, and quite another to hear the voice of a customer.
Recently we received a phone message from a customer who was very thankful for the services received from our Navigator and Home Repair* program staff; here, in part, is her message:
“I’m just sitting here praying and crying because I appreciate what you do so much. I thank the Lord that He put someone in my path- when I didn’t know what to do, or who to turn to. You don’t know how much this means to me – you are all such a blessing. Tonight I don’t have to worry about waking up and not being about to do my dishes, wash my clothes, or take a bath. I’m an old lady, a thankful old lady. Now I can lay down and go to rest, knowing there are angels like you to watch over me.”
Navigator assists individuals and families with an assessment of choices and decisions for current and future needs, and develops a care plan to coordinate pertinent services.
