Food for All at Senior Services Southwest Michigan provides an incomparable meal delivery service, available to anyone living in Kalamazoo and Calhoun Counties, who would like or is in need of a healthy and delicious meal. Food For All can help you maintain healthy eating habits and provides quality stress-free time with those you love. All of our meals are made ‘from scratch’ in our kitchen using fresh ingredients to ensure great flavor and high nutrition and will be delivered to you, ready-to-eat. Delivery times are 11:00am to 1:00pm. Food for All is here to make your life a bit less chaotic and provide nutritious food when you need it most.
Senior Service’s Home Care Program provides personalized in-home care services for aging adults and adults with disabilities who wish to remain independent in their own home. Respite Care through our program preserves the health and well-being of caregivers, families and loved ones through provided periods of relief and an opportunity to get away.
Senior Services Assist Navigator Program is here to help answer difficult questions throughout the aging process and assist older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers navigate their way to appropriate resources and services. Our Navigators are dedicated to helping individuals live their lives to the fullest and will work together to help achieve the identified goals without the added stress.
The Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program (MMAP) at Senior Services provides high quality, unbiased benefits counseling without charge. Highly trained volunteer counselors are available to educate, counsel and empower Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers so that they may make informed health benefit decisions and possibly save some money in the process too.
The Coover Center offers a variety of opportunities for older adults to come together and get involved in continual growth and learning. We aim to help individuals thrive no matter their age or physical capabilities and offer a wide range of activities and services in the Coover Center to promote and enhance the independence and well-being of older adults, adults with disabilities, and those who care for them.
Home Repair Services offered at Senior Services provide home modifications and repair services that will make living at home easier and safer for older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers alike. Services help older adults and adults with disabilities remain active, mobile, and independent where they choose to live and alleviate the fear of aging in place.
Volunteering has been said to be the “secret ingredient” to staying healthy and fulfilled. Senior Services Foster Grandparent Program gives individuals the opportunity to share their experience and their talent to improve the lives of children in need. They help children develop the skills, confidence, and strength to succeed in life and make their neighborhoods stronger by helping children with special needs to achieve their goals.
