Senior Services Southwest Michigan is seeking a qualified candidate for part-time Receptionist. This position provides exceptional customer service by serving as the initial point of contact between the community and Senior Services. This position answers the telephones, receives the public, provides customer service and performs routine clerical and administrative tasks.
Certified Nurse’s Aide
This is a part-time CNA position performing personal care and homemaking tasks for homebound elders in Kalamazoo County. You'll also serve as a link between the customer and the registered nurse. Duties include assisting with customer’s assessment and planning; assisting with meeting customer’s nutrition and elimination needs; assisting with customer’s mobility; assisting with customer’s personal hygiene and grooming; and, assisting with promoting customer safety and environmental cleanliness.
Home Care Aide
Senior Services of Southwest Michigan is looking for qualified candidates to fill several part-time Home Care Aide positions available immediately. In this position, you must have the availability to work a variety of hours, based on our customers’ needs, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and/or evenings. Current positions offer an average of 20+ hours per week, but more hours may be available for those willing to work throughout Kalamazoo County. The ability to work overnight hours a plus!
Nutrition Program Assistant
This is a part-time regular (24-30 hours/week) position. In this position you would provide assessments to Meals on Wheels customers by assessing and planning, linking, advocating, responding to emergencies, and monitoring the unmet basic needs of older adults living in Calhoun or surrounding counties. You would also provide clerical support, and assists with all aspects of the Nutrition Programs.
